Welcome to Williams-Chapman Llewellin Setters
When we started breeding Llewellin Setters twenty
years ago there were very few around. We had hunted with other breeds, but couldn't get out of
our minds the old Llewellins we used to hunt with. It seems we looked all over the country
before we made a connection with the southern Indiana folks. That started us on our way with
Llewellins.
We are small breeders, breeding only dogs we hunt
with.These dogs are truly outstanding hunting dogs, as well as great companions, that we select
for breeding purposes.
You may have seen some of our breeding in your pedigrees. Will's Molley Bondhu, Chappy's Buster
Bondhu, Chappy's Sugar Babe, Will's Highland Pride, Dashing Windem Sam, Jack's Highstyle Bondhu,
owner Bill Hardee. Sugar Babe and Highland Bandit Bondhu Pride begot Dashing Iron Mike, winner
of the first Llewellin Setter field trial. Mike is owned by Bob Bailey, West Liberty, Kentucky.
